Already, a sprained tendon!

AARGH! Help, I'm already messing up. I made two swatches but failed to swatch this 7-st pattern repeat as the only complicated thing was ktbl and that was fine. But I'm already 3 inches up the back of sweater (did I mention I woke up really early to cast on and then knit during lunch?) and it's just not looking like the picture. So now I'm forced to decide between going out tonight and going to my LYS for a rescue. I feel like the athlete who sprains their tendon the first day but decides valiantly to go on.

Wish me luck!

So how's the mess up the back going? If it was me, I would have left the first inch of "wandering rows" as a testament to the learning experience and forged ahead with the next inch that fell into pattern.

Well, Grace offered to not only fix the wandering rows BUT also teach me how to fix wandering rows in general. How can you pass up that offer?
